Autumn taste!
For the second year in
a row, the tourist and hotel
establishment Maistra, in cooperation
with the town tourist board, organised a
manifestation entitled the ‘Autumn Taste
of Rovinj.’ The town square sales stalls
offered fine wine and some brandies,
while autumn, tasty delicacies were
being prepared in frothing pots. Among
other things, townsfolk and guests of
Rovinj had the opportunity to try the
traditional Istrian pasta called fuži,
in combination with local beef, shrimp
and edible bolete salad and venison with
yet another indigenous pasta, pljukanci.
Desserts boasted the especially inciting
mousse, and the attractive chestnut
cake.
Tango in Rovinj!
Thanks to the
organisers – the hotels and catering
establishment Maistra and the Libertango
Studio from the German town of Oldendurg,
and patrons – the Town and its Tourist
Board, Rovinj was host to the Tango
Festival for the second year in a row.
Apart from workshops organised on a
daily basis that were held at three
levels – beginners, intermediate and
advanced dancers – and which were lead
by deft and world renowned tango dancers
– Laura Priori and Andreas von Maxen,
Patricia Hilliges and Matteo Panero, and
Diana Del Valle and Juan Camerlingo, the
festival included dance nights as well.
During the first dance evening in the
Park Hotel, a show by international
tango dancers was staged. The next
evening, a tango show with the Mara Trio
from Germany was held, and during the
third and final evening, a gala show was
organised in the Eden Hotel for all
participants of the dance course, which
included performances by the Tango
Appassionato from Zagreb as well as the
Mara Trio.
Photodays!
The second Photodays
Photography Festival is ongoing in Rovinj,
the manifestation including national,
professional and contestant participants of
the Croatian photography community, with
awards given to authors of the best
achievements created during the past year,
in several photographic categories.
Rovinj celebrated third time won „Blue
flower“!
Croatian tourist organisation along with
main croatian media decided to give reward
for the nicest and tidiest town to Rovinj.
Largest Croatian newspaper involved in this
were „Glas Istre“, „Jutarnji list“,
„Slobodna dalmacija“ and Croatian radio. A
town of st. Eufemia was awarded third time
with this award and this way showed its
importance, hospitality and beauty among
other beautiful places on Croatian coast. H-dent and Mediterraneo
cooperation!
H-dent and tourist agency Mediterraneo
started cooperation that enriched our story
about medical tourism.
Since Rovinj is a famous tourist destination
we among our dental services offer our
pacients services like accomodation,
transfer, rent a car, excursions that will
make stay in Rovinj more ineresting. H-dent in new office!
H-dent is finishing new offices in which we
are going to move in February 2009. New
office is even more spaceous and equipped.
It will mean more comfort and quality in our
work.
